Blank won't, but you can try to flash the BIOS with the file HP provides at their website.

I am not sure if that will work though...maybe consult a service center that fixes HP computers.

See: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/HP-260-G1-USERS-DO-NOT-INSTALL-BIOS-UPDATE...

One person with an HP 260 G1 claims that doing the BIOS update "bricked" his motherboard.

EDIT: However, that item was posted in 2016, and it was for a 'G1', not a 'G2'.

See: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-260-g1-desktop-mini-pc/7375834/swItemI...

for a BIOS-update dated in December 2017, for the 'G1', not the 'G2'.

See: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/HP-260-G2-Mini-bios-issue/td-p/6471157/

for a similar "bricking" of a 'G2' -- using the December 2017 BIOS-update.

I think that if you use the "search" function within this Forum, searching on '260 G2 BIOS', that you'll find other reports about "bricked" motherboards.

I am slightly surprised that an "Enterprise" service-contract will NOT provide "next-business-day-on-site" service -- that it takes "one-to-two-weeks".

Can't you get HP to "express ship" a "bare-bones" 260 G2 system-unit to your Enterprise?
