HP 280 G2 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Community,

I have remotely updated a desktop few months ago to version 0.54. When rebooting I wasn't able to boot the  OS.

This device have been upgraded with an SSD 1 year and a half and was working perfectly; only this BIOS update was appearing in the HP Support Assistant.

Now I can physically access this device, tested with different SSDs without more luck. So I browsed the web and found out:

1/ As far as I understood, this 280 G2 have an issue with SSD on updated BiOSes: I updated

2/ The BIOS "could not" (?) been downgraded for re-enabling this SSD support

I acknoledge this is not a brand new computer but it does the job and the no-SSD support now is a nonsense.

Maybe I haven't searched enough?

Maybe it is not a BIOS issue`?

Any help or link would be appreciated.

Best regards

I wasn't able to boot the  OS.

What happens when you try? Any error-message?

Have you used BIOS SETUP to nominate the SSD as the first bootable device?

Hello @Itsmyname,

After pressing the power button, the system displays a HP logo and... nothing more; the system doesn't boot up.

With the SSD connected, I am not even able to access the BIOS (F10 key)

Regards
