I have noted in my HP 8200E SFF PC an exlamation mark next to the "other devices" " PCI serial port" in the device manager, on clicking on properties there is message that say the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28), on trying to update driver, windows search says that there are no compatible driver for this device and asked to contact the manufacturer for an updated driver, how can I obtain this driver?the PC look runing OK so far.
Any help is very much appreciated.
thank you

> if the driver is not installed, will this have an effect on the PC?
No. That "AMT" is used only in a "corporate" computer network, where there is a centralized "system-administrator" who can "push" updates to all the computers on the network.
Actually, installing it can open a "security-hole", if your computer is directly-connected to the Internet.
If your computer is connected to a wired/wireless router, then a "hacker" on the Internet cannot remotely access your computer, but a [compromised?] computer on your "home" network can remotely access your computer.

Hi:
You need this driver for that device...
This package contains the Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) Driver for supported models running a supported operating system.
