HP All-in-One 27-dp0010nl
Microsoft Windows 11

Good evening, I have a HP All-in-One 27-dp0010nl PC.
The mass storage suddenly broke.
I replaced it with an M2 SATA format, it is not NvME but it is not a problem, it is just slower.
I then installed another Windows 11 Home with the original license (I no longer had the HP license, but I don't think it is a problem to install another). I downloaded Windows 11 directly from the Microsoft site and then inserted the new license that I bought.

THE PROBLEM: everything works except Ethernet and WiFi.
If I run the diagnostics of the motherboard included in the bios, ethernet and wi-fi are not present. If I also try to connect an ethernet cable, the green LED lights up but the orange one is off.
I had all the Windows updates done and also brutally installed the Realtek drives present on the HP site, but nothing.

Are you aware of this particular case?

Hi:

What I suggest you do is to use another PC and the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

PC Consumer HP - Utilizzo di HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 e 10 | Assistenza HP®

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

Since you will have to use the software on another PC as yours has no internet connection, you will have to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is 1G1A7EA#ABZ

Thank you Paul,

I did exactly as you said, but it still not works.

After a long time HP recovery usb installed Windows 10 64 bit.

Ethernet and Wifi is invisibile to Operating system.

Also the computer restarts correctly but does not shut down (I have to keep startup button pressed), as if windows 95 was installed, really incredible 🙂

If I use a usb wifi it works.

You're very welcome,

Under the circumstances I would say that it is more likely a hardware problem than a software one, and you may have continue using a USB wifi adapter and reinstall W11, if the PC didn't have the not shutting down problem on W11.
