The System BIOS update failed, unable to open BIOS Image file.
followed steps I found online to recover BIOS from hidden partition.
windows key + b, power system on and hold for 3 seconds, release power button and continue to hold keys.
system goes through states it is recovering BIOS, restarts and verifies that BIOS.
system restarts again with same issue of BIOS Update Failed.

Unfortunately, this is bad news.
It might be possible to load an older bios. Before you did the bios update did you press ESC and run diagnostics to verify the memory and drive was working good?
Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol.

Hi:
What is the full model number or product number of your PC?
Use this guide to find that information...

You have one of the many PC's with the MonkD motherboard that had that problem after an unsolicited BIOS update push from Windows update.
This discussion has helped many folks with that motherboard resolve the problem.
Hopefully, it will work for you as well.
