In response to pointless data on another thread re: Beep code 3 long 4 short: It means bad power supply.

 

I got this after replacing an i7 power supply with an i5 power supply. In short, if wire colors don't match, don't attempt the replacement.

 

If you get 3 long 4 short and have not replaced the power supply, replace the power supply. The code means, "replace the power supply."
