removed dvd player from old hardware, attempted install on new. if there's a driver for it, i'd like to download for installation... thanks

sorry, but that link is horrible unless the box was purchased from HP... if you have peripherals, like the DVD player, that came FROM that box, but are no longer IN that box, this website seems to think you are unworthy of an answer, unable to continue locating whatever you need to find.
in this particular, i need a driver. i don't need to ID my computer, because it won't ID as an HP computer. i just need a driver.
