Hello, 

 

I own a HP Laptop Model 17-by0053cl with serial number 5CG8143XK0. 

 

When I open my laptop, it gives me a warning message that states my storage capacity of the battery is running low and that it needs to be replaced. 

 

Does a battery exist for this model? 

 

We have tried looking for one, but it is not that easy to find.

Hi:

 

Chapter 3 of the service manual indicates that only one battery was offered in the model series.

 

HP 17 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Battery (3-cell, 41 WHr)    HP part # L11119-855

 

The parts list for your notebook also indicates that is the battery part number you need:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

You can buy a replacement battery from HP at the link below:  $92.81

 

The HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - HP parts - hp batteries - SSD - printhea...

 

Or you can do a search by the HP part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com
