Hi Guys,
I haven’t been around for a while and now I have a big dozzie of a problem, hope some one can help me with.
I have a HP Envy Pheonix 850-055qe desktop computer running on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit that over the years became intolerably slow, program constantly non-responding and many other problems.
Was advised to do a Factory Reset with four HP System Recovery Discs I had previously purchased from HP.
Entered the Recovery Manager and the discs were not recognized by the system. I had to do a F11 on start up then press "Esc" to get into and change and change the boot order to recognized the CD/DVD drive. That worked.
I stepped up from disc # 1 through disc #2, #3, and #4 with no problem along the way.
Then was advised to restart the computer and not shut it off while the system "Initialized The Software". It started with "Windows is loading files" and a white line appeared at the bottom of the screen showing the progress. Then it said "Windows Starting" then a blue screen came up with the HP logo on it. It said next, "Please wait while HP Software is Initializing", then another blue screen popped up with a HP logo on it. Then a "Debug Screen" popped up for just a second then disappeared.
A Red Screen with X: in the upper left corner of screen come up next
Then "7x.dll" and below it
"7z.exe" appeared blow it
Said "2 file(s) copied and below it
Next Said below the above, "Z-Zip (64) 9.20 Copyright <c> 1999-2010 Igor Pavlov 2010-11-18"
Then it said, "Scanning" below the above for about 2 minutes with nothing flashing by on the screen. Just "Scanning" with the cursor flashing near the end of it.
THEN, A Red Screen with "X:\windows\windows system32\cmd.exe" appeared at the the top of the Red screen. In the upper left corner it said "Red Screen FP Error".
Then a Red/white small circle with an X menu appeared saying below it; "The Software Installation Encountered an Error" in a white menu box about 3" x 4" and message in the box said,
First Line: "Summary- timed out waiting in @cmdSingle Obj"
Second Line: "Error Info:-1 unknown process error".
Third Line: "Last Bio: c:\appl.zip\preos.pi\0__001_export_base_image.bto"
Fourth Line: LastBTOline: (8) Timedout waiting for >cmd.exe/c"
Fifth Line: c:\appl\preos.pi\exportBaseImage.com W764PR"
Sixth Line: You must power down the system and restart the order
No matter what I do it always comes back to tt message above,
Any help out there. I canot get to the command prompt or windows 7 no matter what I do.

Hi Lil_Boy_Blue
When I got to your listed website was told the Windows 7 Professional OEM Product I enetered was "invalid" and had to stop there.
The following comes from bios test I run:
Hi Guys,
It’s me again, JC (Jesus Christ, you here again). Have the same HP Envy Pheonix 850-005qe Desktop computer. I did a Factory Restore on it last week, see my earlier msg to the forum for all the details and error message I am getting, and now I cannot get the installed software to properly initialize. Repeatedly come up with the warning error message and nothing else. Seems the bios is stuck on it’s current configurations and it cannot be changed.
I was able to do a Version 1.9.0.0 - Bios check called HP PC Hardware Dignostics UFEI", Extensive Hard Drive Check". It told me that:
"Smart Check: Passed" and
"Long DST : Test in Progress"; when it reach about 1 hour into the test the following:
"Long DSAT Failed" and "Failure ID: GGESVQ-7N79GK-QFFWMG-61D603" and "Product ID: MoK55AV#ABA" and "Hard Drive 1" appeared.
It gave an InterNet address to go to"www.HP.om/go/techcenter/PGDiags" which was all Greek and several other languages to me I never saw before, so there was no help for me there!
Can anybody on the forum tell me what this is. Is it time to trash my computer and start over.
I tried going to a Windows 10 Professional operating system computer and after just one week sent it back throughly disgusted with the new learning curve in it. I am almost 87 years old and do not have enough time to change from Windows 7 Professional x64 bit which I am extremely comfortable with. Am lucky I have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium x64bit available to me.
Per the Failue ID above. I could not do it.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what is wrong.
Am considering a new hard drive, just wonder if I would be able to run the factory reset discs I have as all the operating files are on the old hard drive L cannot access. Just wondering???
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Many thanks to all who will reply
