I have a HP ProDesk 400 that I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 10. When the install reaches the end it tells me I need to uninstall HP Drive Encryption. When I go to do that, the green bar moves all the way to the right then moves all the way to the left with the status saying "rolling back action". I ran a repair of Drive Encryption and it was successful but I still cannot uninstall it. I also opened the Client Security Manager but get an error that says "Root element is missing" and it closes. I also tried to uninstall Client Security Manager but got an error saying Drive Encryption depends on it. So I'm in a catch 22. The hard drive is not encrypted. How can I get rid of HP Drive Encryption?

Based on the Windows update prompt, the Windows update is detecting an incompatible software that may cause an issue with the most recent update. HP Drive Encryption is a default program from the manufacturer of your computer.
We suggest removing the program to complete the update process. You can always reinstall the program from HP support website.
