  • What is the product number for your computer?  00325-95956-74303-AAOEM
  • What is the operating system you are using?  64-bit operating system, x64-bsed processor
  • What is the exact issue you are facing?  Speakers work sometimes but most of the time do not.
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?  Yes, did online searches, googled ideas to fix, found many users were very upset as they have the speakers fixed then they stop working again.  Took my laptop to Best Buy, they fixed by reloading the software for the speakers, worked for a day and broke again.  Please help.

@MClarkRealtor,

Do you face the same issues when headphones are connected?

I recommend you run the audio troubleshooter and check.

To run the troubleshooter: select the Start button, type audio troubleshooter in the search box, select Find and fix audio playback problems from the list of results, and then select Next. You'll be prompted to choose the device to troubleshoot.

If the issue persists, update your audio driver

  1. Select the Start button and type device manager in the search box, then select it from the list of results.
  2. Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.
  3. Right-click (or press and hold) your sound card, then select Properties.
  4. Select the Driver tab, and then select Update Driver.
  5. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
