Hello, I am trying to make more room on this pc, what is the hp magic canvas used for and do i need to have it? Thanks

Commentary (not to be confused the HP policy or fact)

 

I doubt you can get MC back from any HP source -- I believe it was one of those "bundled software" packages that came installed with the system.  The original Recovery discs might include Magic Canvas, though I have my doubts about that.  Seems like "bundled" software was not included.

 

I see places on the 'net that claim you can download it.  Whether that is a good idea is a whole different discussion.

 

Frankly, I have not even seen Magic Canvas recently -- my Dad's old W7 Desktop had it installed.  As I recall, I just removed the icon from the desktop to keep him out of it (he found the whole carousel bits confusing).

 

 

 

You might want to check around on the 'net and see what others have said about it.
