Microsoft Windows XP

I'm trying to re-install windows XP. I know it's extremely out dated... but I know the drivers are still available from the ftp server. I'm encountering an issue due to the fact that HPs website no longer lists drivers. I was hoping I would be able to get a list of the required drivers for Windows XP Pro x64. Thank you in advance!

Hi:

HP never supported that model for Windows XP, only Windows 7, so there are no XP drivers for your PC on the FTP site.

HP Pavilion p6653w Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

Looking at the specs, I would say you need these XP 64 bit drivers for the Graphics, Audio and ethernet...

Graphics:  Select the WXP 64 bit driver from the list.

ATI Radeon™ HD 4200 Drivers & Support | AMD

Audio:  Accept the agreement, download and install the XP graphics driver.

PC Audio Codecs > High Definition Audio Codecs Software - REALTEK

Ethernet:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the XP driver at the link below...

RTL8169SC(L) Software - REALTEK

You probably need to have the latest Windows service pack installed for XP 64 bit in order for the audio to work.
