Hello
I am trying to reinstall Windows 10 from a disc. However it keeps failing. The disc is a 2nd replacement one so I can’t think it is a disc problem. I have run a hard drive test and all ok. However running the Memory Quick Check failed with the following Failure ID: PG86T9-8AM946-PXPB7F-403703
Product ID: T1H69EA#ABU
Please help
Thanks

> ... running the Memory Quick Check failed ...
The RAM in your computer is defective.
Turn off your computer, disconnect the AC power. If it is a laptop with a removable battery, remove the battery.
If there is more than one stick of RAM, remove the sticks, until just one stick is still connected.
Reconnect the AC power (don't reconnect the laptop's battery, just yet).
Rerun the Memory Quick Check. If it fails, that stick of RAM is "bad", and must be replaced. If it passes, then shutdown, disconnect the AC power, and swap-out that "good" stick with one of the other sticks. Reconnect the AC power, and test this stick. Repeat the "swapping" and the "testing".
If there is only one stick of RAM, it is "bad", and must be replaced.
Is the original HP Warranty still in effect? If so, contact HP to make a claim against that warranty.
P.S. Your computer: HP Slimline 411-a005na Desktop PC Product Specifications
has: Memory
• Amount: 8 GB
• Speed: PC3-12800 MB/s (runs at PC3-10600 in this system)
• Type: DDR3-1600
with Memory upgrade information
• Dual channel memory architecture
• Two DDR3 SODIMM (204-pin) sockets
• Supports up to PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
• Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB DDR3 SODIMMs
So, if the current RAM is two 4GB sticks, then it will run, only a little slower, with only 4GB installed. Try it.
