I don't understand your question.
The HP Pavilion 23 all-in-one would have a 23" display.
A Pavillion all-in-one is insufficient information to answer your question.
Every one of them would list the display size like the HP Pavilion 23 does.

I am looking at two computers; the first picture shows a "Pavilion 23" All-In-One" and the second picture indicates that it is a "Pavilion." They are both different in design. My question is whether these two computers, although marked differently, are in effect the same computer or did HP market different versions of the HP Pavilion.

The PC in your top picture seems considerably older than the one in the bottom picture.
Sorry but I can't help you and I doubt anyone else can either.
You are going to have to compare the specifications of both PC's.
What processors? How much memory? What year were they made?
There is just not enough info here for anyone to answer your question.

You're very welcome.
The easiest thing to do is to get the serial numbers off both of the PC's and enter them in the search window at the link below, one at a time.
That will give you the model numbers and specifications of the PC's based on what parts they come with.
Or, you can post the product numbers you get from the search results and I'll see what I can find.
