I am resurrecting an old HP Pavilion Elite e9220y desktop.  It ran Ubuntu fine until I changed the CMOS battery.  Now, at startup the BIOS will only recognize the backup HDD which was in the computer during the battery change.  It will not recognize the SSD boot drive and, of course, cannot boot from it.  However, when I boot from the backup HDD, the computer can recognize the SSD; its files are accessible, it passes an fsck check, and disks shows the SSD as bootable. I assume this indicates a problem with the BIOS - any ideas?
