Hello, Below are my laptop specifications -
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
I have been using the laptop for past almost 2 years. The last few days, my laptop is overheating and shutting down quickly. I could hear the sound of fan running.
I was running oracly virtual box software and that coule be reason. But, now even if i don't open virtual box application, it is still overheating anf shutting down again

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your laptop overheating.
Kindly refer to the steps on this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.
Also, update the BIOS by clicking on this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.
Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.
Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.
Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
