HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1114 Desktop PC

I have an older model HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1114 Desktop PC that I hadn't used in a while. I decided to pull all my files and move them to my laptop. However, when I tried to turn it on, the light flashes oranges and beeps. I tried using it a can of air to blow out dust but it didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

You can get to the files by removing the HDD from the Desktop. Buy a HDD/USB caddy. Connect the HDD to the caddy and connect the caddy to the Laptop as a data drive via USB.

The beeping and flashing LED error code on the Desktop PC may be determinable if you can pick up a cadence.

This HP Support site (Link) lists common BIOS error codes to determine what hardware is causing the problem. You would look at PCs made before 2015.

Regards
