Bought OMNI, works but has empty recovery section on HD.

Did it come originally with W7 or W8?

 

If so then installing W10 may be the reason.

Here is the support page for that model, indicating it came with Windows 7.

Since it now has Windows 10, the Recovery Partition would not be current even if it was there.  If you want a better solution, you can always make an image of the present system and store it in a safe place, so when things go south, apply this saved image.  And, go here for installation media.

Make the installation media by using the tool.  Scroll down to the "Using the tool to create installation media" and follow the directions.
