HP Pavilion Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've just restored my desktop pc from software failure, I have a backup created using the HP Recovery Manager, however whenever I try to restore the backup using the executable on the USB drive I get "destination drive is not connected", deleting all the temporary directories I get further but now I'm getting "insert disc 2", of which there isn't one (and no browse button).

I've tried downloading the Cloud backup software from Microsoft store but it wants to wipe my USB drive.

My Windows 10 is all up and running, so is there a way I can read this .swm files manually or download a new version of HP Recovery manager which can restore from these files?

Many thanks.

Cloud_Strider mentions how to manually restore those files.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
