How do I use SSA to configure a hard drive on a ProLiant ML30 Gen9 server? I hooked up the harddrive to the 4x cable, plugged that into the appropriate slot on the harddrive, then used an ISO to install Fedora. Fedora installed on the HD just fine. But when I restarted the computer I still saw
Embedded Sorage : Dynamic Smart Array B1401 - SATA Optical Drive 1 - Configuration required.
1785-Slot 0b Drive Array Not Configured. Action: Use the SSA to configure the attached drives.

This is the HP Community forum for consumers -- we don't provide Server support of any kind here.
For server support, you have to contact HP Enterprise -- a separate company with which we have no affiliation.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Hi, @jaghankeer
HP split into two companies 10 years ago.
HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.
HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and enterprise storage devices.
