Product: HP Pavilion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Soon after the Windows 10 2004 update, I finally chose to remove embedded NOTEPAD.EXE
However, if you do so, then HP Support Assistant does NOT work anymore and it crashes.
I think the reason is related to the account tab written inside the HP program.
So the only choice you have is to restore NOTEPAD.EXE and then login again with your HP ID account in order to restore HP Support Assistant.
I ask HP to rewrite this application in order to avoid the dependancies on NOTEPAD.EXE
I find it much more useful using GNU NOTEPAD++ for Windows.
Bye
