Hi
When turning on the computer the fan is very loud and does not go off until I remove HP Support Assistant from the Task Manager.
I have tried downloading the latest version of HP Support Assistant, which says it is incompatible and to install the Legacy version. I have done this but still get the noise from the fan (which is constant) until I remove HP Support Assistant from the Task List.
Does anyone have any ideas, please?
Regards
Phil Brewer

Hi
HP offers this version of HPSA 9.5.353.0 Rev.A for your PC at this Link.
Remove the current version if it is older. Try this version. Or don't use HPSA. You can manually download and install stuff here. The latest software or driver download offered at this site is from 2020.
Check Startup Apps in Task Manager. Disable HPSA if present.
