HP T620 Thinclient
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

T620 Windows 10, Startbutton or Startmenu not working after joining to domain.

I have a T620 for research before we buy 150 pieces of these Thinclients.

When i add the Thinclient to our domain and i reboot, i log in as a domain user, then a user profile is created with .v5 in the profile name. Everything works fine for now.

When i log off and log on again with that same user and his profile, the startbutton on the startmenu is not working anymore. Not with the mouse also not with the keyboard.

Tried every tip i could find including PwrShell cmdlets etc. still now orking StartButton and no StartMenu

Does any one know what is the course of this and how to fix this?

Solved!

I made a ticket with HP,

The solution is to configure HP EasyShell, you find it in the startmenu under Folder HP.

The user settings were all disabled, Mouse keyboeard etc.

I enabled them and committed them to the EWF filter.

I have now T630 and there it is already enabled.

In a T620 from my build nr it was disabled.

Solution = configure HP Easyshell options for T620
