Ever since I downloaded Windows 11 earlier this year, I've been having trouble accessing the update screen. Whenever I go to Windows Update from the settings, it will say "Something went wrong. Try to reopen Settings later."
I very rarely have access to the Windows Updates. Additionally, whenever I'm on my computer, I will get a window titled "HP Update" that says "Access Denied." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling HP Support Assistant, but it didn't seem to allow me access to Windows Updates.
interestingly, it does show as my computer having no updates, but when I try to access Windows Updates from Settings, I still get an error. I'm not sure of what to do at this point. Does anyone know what to do?

hi
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-17-by0000-laptop-pc/20395856/model/28967656
you can see here, that the computer, does not seem to be supported for windows 11, hp does not issue drivers
So hp support assistant is useless here
for windows update it is better to separate the two problems
I invite you to open another thread with as much detail as possible.
