I did a clean install of windows 11.I installed the omen gaming hub software to control the RGB on the front of my Desktop. I also installed the Omen gaming hub SDK as well. In the Gaming hub the model is showing a generic HP pc not the Victus model i have. My friend has a similar model and his has a Victus profile.

To address the issue with your HP Victus 15L TG02-0325M not showing the correct model in the OMEN Gaming Hub and instead displaying as a generic HP PC, follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  • Find OMEN Gaming Hub and OMEN Gaming Hub SDK.
  • Uninstall both applications.

Restart Your Computer:

Download the Latest Version:

  • Go to the OMEN Gaming Hub page on the HP Support website.
  • Download and install the latest version of the OMEN Gaming Hub and OMEN Gaming Hub SDK.

Step 2: Update BIOS and Drivers

Update BIOS:

  • Go to the HP Support page and enter your model number (HP Victus 15L TG02-0325M).
  • Download and install the latest BIOS update if available.

Update Drivers:

  • On the same support page, download and install the latest chipset and RGB control drivers for your model.

Step 3: Check Windows Updates

  1. Check for Windows Updates:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    • Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
