Hi there,

 

i have HP Workstation Z6 G4 and i am trying to format and install new OS but for some reason i cannot see my internal harddisk but i can see bootable USB.

 

do i have to change anything in BIOS setup? please help me i have been trying for few days.

You have a Z3Y91AV   -   HP Z6 G4 Workstation

Please delete your serial number.

 

Any chance of a photo of that particular BIOS / BOOT screen?

Hi Lil_Boy_Blue, i have attached the BIOS screenshot here.

i tried to install the OS in external drive which it shows while installing but it gives me error
" Windows cannot be installed to this disk. setup doesnot support configuration of or installation to disks connected through a USB or IEE 1394 port"
