HP Z1 G9 Tower updating graphics

Hi.I'm thinking of buying the latest base model of this PC for home use only.I need to know if much technical knowledge is needed when I at some point update graphics and memory.For instance,will I be able to just plug it in and use it,or will I need to have knowledge of the bios?I'm used to updating basic home desktops and laptops,but this particular model looks much more professional than I'm used to dealing with and I don't want to be frying it.Thanks

Problem is power supply.  Page 6 of manual mentions the need for a 550 watt supply

Looking at this RTX 3070 it uses 220 watts, not 200 but the recommended power supply is still 550

that is cutting it close.

Looks like there are only three power supplies available for the G9

define the precise use of this computer, because in some cases you will not need a graphics card as powerful as an rtx 3070

Thanks for your help in this.I'll mostly use it for the likes of Photoshop,Lightroom and similar programs.I'm not a gamer....unless you count Bejewelled.

I was concerned I may have to manually throw switches or sleeves around if I did want to update.

in this case, I leave the rest to @BeemerBiker 
but personally I do not recommend in this case, to take a basic model, to see which one you want to buy, but better a model already ready for these software
upgrades might be a bit complicated
