Ok, I updated the bios, when it was busy updating the screen just went black. I left it for an hour and no change.
Restarted the PC and it does not display anything, the start button is now red and it beeps 8 times then start button goes blue for a while then red and beeps etc.
Tried: (nothing worked so far)
1. bios reset button as per instructions
2. Downloaded the lates bios update and tried installing the DosFlash via usb
What else can I try? Thanks

I am having the same problem- can you please elaborate how you were able to reflash the bios with the CD? my screen is pitch black and keyboard does not seem responsive. All i get is 8 beeps and power LED Flashing red as it beeps.
Did you just create the CD and the system will boot into it and reflash it automatically even though we can't see anything on the screen ?

After the installation of the new BIOS v01.55 the computer is stopping the boot process after initialisation. I see only the information "Press ESC key for Startup Menu". But the ESC key (and all other F keys) do not start further menus as expected. How can I reset the BIOS if I can't enter the BIOS menu?
