Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

I recently bought a HP Z4 G4 Workstation with Windows 10 Pro on it.

 

When I buy a new PC, one of the first things I usually do is storing the Windows 10 product key in a safe place. Just to make sure I can find it for the next 7/8 years when I need to to a complete re-install of Windows.

 

However, on my new HP Z4 G4 I cannot find a Windows sticker with a product key on it. I didn't receive a separate installation medium neither. While the command "wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey" doesn't provide me with a product key neither.

 

Questions:

1. is it correct no Windows sticker is on my Workstation?

2. does anyone know why wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey doesn't show the product key?

3. could it be the product key is embedded in the BIOS? Is it in a readable format?

4. is there any other way I can find the Windows 10 product key?

Hi

The product key is entered in the system in effect
you shouldn't need it, if you reinstall the same version
if you want you can try with this

Get ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Store
