Hello,
unfortunately, I can't get the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to work at home. I keep getting an “Error during initialization” message. See also my post at Cannot find RST driver for Windows 11
I have already tried everything possible: Tested different computers, turned off Windows Firewall, tried different HP Cloud Recovery software versions, read everything I could find, asked AI, searched for log files. HP Support had remote access and was also unable to help me.
Could the problem be with my router (Speedport Smart 3)? Does anyone know if there are any error log files from HP Cloud Recovery somewhere? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for all your answers.

I was able to successfully use the HP cloud recovery tool on an external computer. I don't know why it didn't work at home, but it doesn't matter now 🙂
