HP desktop keeps displaying HP supported ads. How do I get these pop ups to stop.

HP keeps displaying pop up ads on my desktop. None of these ads have nothing no interest to me. This is very annoying. How do I stop these ads from occurring.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I don't have a HP PC at this time.

See if you can turn off HP notifications in either: HP Support Assistant or Omen Gaming Hub if you have this App.

Or try to turn off HP notifications using Windows. Look in Settings>System>Notifications.

I do not use Omen Gaming Hub.

I tried turning off HP notifications in HP Support Assistant. I turned off what I thought was appropriate.

This morning, I got a desktop notification from Drop Box. 

Your suggestion does not work.

It would be helpful if the correct notification that I need to turn off was given. 

Also, why does HP feel the need to send desktop notifications from vendors at all? All it does is to make HP users to consider switching to other brands.

I did mention I don't have a HP PC at this time. But I have shut down all Microsoft adds on my DIY PCs. My PCs are add free.

All of the big tech players like to push adds so they can make more money.

I'm surprised you cannot turn off HP notifications using Windows notifications options. Also surprised you cannot control HP notifications using HP Support Assistant.

I've seen other folks in this Forum stop HP adds using the above options.

Maybe a different HP Forum member can assist.
