Hello, turn on power and get a blue screen error "Automatic Repair, Your PC did not start correctly". I have tried every Advance Option on the menu and continue to get the same error message. Any suggestions?

Hi @Dave1082
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
When you encounter a blue screen error with the message "Automatic Repair, Your PC did not start correctly," it indicates a problem that prevents Windows from booting properly.
Here's a series of steps you can follow to troubleshoot this issue:
Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the power cable.
- If the computer is connected to any non-essential devices such as printers, external hard drives, or USB drives, disconnect them.
- Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn the computer back on.
Step 2: Use Windows Recovery Environment
- Restart your computer and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly.
- On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot.
- Select Advanced Options and try using Startup Repair.
- If Startup Repair does not resolve the issue, repeat the steps to access Advanced Options and try System Restore.
Step 3: Run Hardware Diagnostics
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly to open the startup menu.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Run the Extensive Test to check for any hardware issues.
Step 4: Boot into Safe Mode
- From the Troubleshoot screen, select Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Enable Safe Mode.
- Once in Safe Mode, uninstall recent updates or drivers that might have caused the problem.
Step 5: Reset Your PC
- Access the Troubleshoot screen again and select Reset this PC.
- Choose to keep your files when prompted. This will reinstall Windows without affecting your personal files.
Let me know what happens during diagnostics or if you need help creating recovery media. We’ll get your system back on track.
