HP ProBook 450 G5 Notebook PC
Linux

I own a HP ProBook 450 G5 Notebook PC, with Windows 10 the startup HP logo stays less than 5s whereas with linux distributions it stays more than 15s, I've tried Ubuntu, Linux mint,  Linux lite, but the results were unchanged.

I suspect your ProBook 450 has the windows "fast start" and Linux does not.  In Ubuntu I have removed the logo.  Some systems have a bios that supports a custom logo which is nice.  Possibly you can replace the HP logo with a more pleasing one.

You might want to read this

Note that windows 10, 11 fast boot shows the desktop WHILE STILL BOOTING UP.  This is the "cheating" that is described in the article..  If windows waits for the CPU to be idle before showing the desktop it might have the HP logo on the screen longer then that 15 seconds.

still its not about the total startup time, its about the hp logo appears before the ubuntu or other distro's logo appears

Try removing the logo.

Are you dual booting?  ie: two partitions ?

If bios has option for "fast boot" then try disabling it.

You can also ask over at "Ask Ubuntu" about the long delay.  Googling I read where the fast boot may be a problem when booting from another partition.

Hope This Helps.
