Product: Pavilion H8 1214

I've unplugged/plugged and checked all cables. My mouse is not lighting up (new mouse). Trying to figure out if I have a monitor issue, a PC issue, or if there may be a "simple" solution. Thank You

HP Recommended

@Warren29 -- hold-down the computer's ON/OFF button for 15 to 30 seconds, until the computer powers-off. Then, power-on the computer, to see if the monitor "wakes up".  What do you see on the monitor's screen?
