I have had my HP Personal Media Drive for some time and after upgrading my lap top several years ago i have no longer been able to access all the photos it contains.  I've reinstalled the drivers to my new computer several times but it will recognize it but can't open it or save to it.  What can I do?

Greetings @Shar2323

I have a functional HP USB Personal Media Drive.

I'm surprised File Explorer detects this drive if you cannot access the drive.

I would guess the HP USB drive has failed if you cannot read or write data to this drive.

You would have to do an Internet search for data recovery specialists if you need the data on this drive.

Data recovery can be very expensive. There is no guarantee of success.

Regards
