HP Procurve switch 2524 J4813A

Some years ago I worked in IT as part of a school program and when I finished that semester I got 2 old HP switches as a gift. Now I took em out of the garage again and want to set it up in my nerd room, but I'm missing the Console port cable. I know in the IT job their PC had an dedicated COM port for the switches and I don't.

So my question is. Anyone know where I can find the port from 9pin D-sub, she - USB?

I recide in Norway and can't for the life of me find that specific cabel anywhere.

I know I can get 9pin male to usb adapter, and 9-pin she to she. But having that many adapters isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

Downloaded Putty and just waiting for the cable. Have a good day everyone ^^

HP split into two companies 10 years ago.

HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.

HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and enterprise storage devices.

You may want to post your question on the HPE community support forum--Aruba & ProVision-based switches section:

You have a good day too!
