Good afternoon. I am seeking assistance with an issue I have been unable to resolve, despite consulting several HP blogs.
The problem is that when attempting to install the operating system on the laptop, it fails to detect the hard drive (shown in the attached photo). I followed all the instructions: I created an installation drive on a USB flash drive using the Microsoft tool, and then copied over a folder—obtained from HP—containing the drivers intended to enable the system to detect the drive. During the OS installation process, when I attempt to load these drivers, the system gets stuck in a loop, eventually displaying a blue screen before the laptop restarts. I also tried using the HP Cloud Recovery tool, but the program reports that it is unable to complete the download. I am running out of options and am not sure what to do next. In the attached photos, you can see the type of driver listed in the laptop's BIOS. For reference, the BIOS is already updated to the latest version. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, why does a RAID driver appear in the system BIOS—one that I cannot seem to remove or change? Am I doing something wrong, and is there a way to modify this setting in the BIOS? I would appreciate your help; thank you very much.
