HP Slim Desktop - S01-aF0134z
Microsoft Windows 11

After a restart, main display had changed from HP2310m to generic monitor  (1 of two generic monitors attached for extended display among three monitors).   No idea why displays changed, but I reset them to proper order, and 2310 set as main display.  For no apparent reason, 2310 speakers are no longer detected as output devices.  Reboot made no difference.  Change in HDMI cable made no difference.  Device manager shows sound cards working properly.  2310 shows up under system>sound>all sound devices>properties.  Allowed apps and Windows to use this device for audio.   Physical controls on front of monitor show HDMI as source.   But  System>sound says "no output devices found."  Speaker icon on home screen marked with X.  No intentional changes made; all happened after a simple restart.
