I have an HP2310m monitor that was connected to an HP P7 1207c computer via DVI cable and it was working fine. I got a new Lenova PC and connected it to the monitor via an HDMI cable and when I use the recommended 1920X1080 resolution only the very top of the taskbar is visible at the bottom of the screen and the program icons are barely visible on the left side of the screen. I went to the menu for the monitor and the manual scaling option is grayed out. Is there a way to fix this so I can use the 1920X1080 resolution. I'm using another resolution now but that doesn't look right but at least I can see the taskbar.

With the On Screen Dialogues (OSDs) there is usually a RESET option somewhere in the list of settings.
It might even say something about resetting to defaults.
Sorry, don't know exactly where in the menu system you would find that.
