Please Help!!


My son was playing racing games on my desktop computer and the next day when I started it up I got the blue screen of death that stated “Boot configuration data on your PC is missing or contains errors” Error Code 0xc0000185. As I ran diagnostics a hard drive failed. Hard Drive Short DST check failed. I’m hoping someone can help me recover my PC. I recently lost my job due to Covid and I really need to get into my computer to get my resume and start applying for jobs. I don’t have money to take it in so trying myself even though I am no computer genius. Hoping I can fix this somehow at home without spending a ton of money or losing all of my data and or stored memories/pictures.
