Received failure ID 94MWSX-8ME9T0-GXGGRG-61RX03 After running Hard drive Optimized DST Check. Hard Drive 1-Primary HDD Bay*

 

”The Optimized DST Check has encountered issues testing your hard drive”. 

 

Does this mean I have to replace the hard drive?

Hi:

 

Yes, you do if you can't boot into Windows.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 by creating a bootable recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery client utility. 

 

Since your notebook is not working, you will need to have access to another working Windows PC for this.
