Bought HP Pavilion 590-p0050 Nov 2019 with windows 10 installed. Upgraded to windows 11 a couple months ago. Hard drive (Seagate Desktop HDD 1TB data AF) crashed. Freezes before login page. Replaced with new hard drive, same type. I have 2 external drives. Don't know if I have a system backup of windows 11. Probably do with windows 10. I need to know exactly how to install system backup when I turn it on. Hold down F8 when turning on? Then what? Use bios to install. Don't know enough to just wing it. Can anybody send PDF of procedure to set up system after replacing drive? All scenarios please. Thanx

Hi:
Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally come with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You will need to have access to another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
After W10 has completed installing you can upgrade back to W11 by clicking on the blue W11 Installation Assistant button at the link below...1st option.
