I had hard drive issues and was unable to make a back up of the original hard drive. I have installed a new hard drive and now I can't get the IOS that I have purchased to download onto the hard drive. I don't know which keys or set of keys to press to start the download. I have the IOS loaded onto a jump drive. Thanks. JerryBear2012

Sorry, but I'm confused by some of your terms ...

First -- IOS -- this is an Apple operating system, not Windows, so you would not install that on an HP PC.

Second, you don't download the OS to the drive; instead, you use Windows media to Install the OS to the drive.  And for this, you need media containing the MS Win10 installation files.

Ok, sorry for the miss information. I purchased Windows 10 home version thinking that everything was there that was needed to get the computer back up and running. I am finding out that I need to get media drives downloaded onto the hard drive before anything will work. I have talked with a rep from HP Smart Friend Services and it will cost me $50.00 through HP to fix my problem.
