Still waiting for windows 2004 over a year, it's still not available for my Envy 795-0010

Hi,

I would wait.

Your PC probably has a hardware/driver problem if Microsoft is not offering the update. The problem could be something else.

Run the following at an administrative command prompt to check system files.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then run sfc /scannow

Unfixable windows system errors may be very tough to fix. You may have to back up data and reinstall the operating system.

A pass or a fix here and still no W10 update probably means you have incompatible: hardware, hardware drivers, or security software. Check for hardware updates, check for software security updates.

I was also in update limbo until this morning when 20H2 'suddenly' became available and I was able to update successfully ... 😁

The bizarre thing is the reason that I wasn't allowed to update earlier - the Conexant HD Audio issue and the presence of the  uci64a<nnn>.dll driver at a file version of 7.231.3.0 or lower - still exists both within the Windows 10 update release notes and on my Envy (I'm at version 189). It all seems to work though ... I'll post back if everything goes up in flames!    😉
