I keep getting a message that Graphics Driver for AMD Radeon have been downloaded and ready to install. My desktop has Intel HD Graphics 530 why would I need to install the AMD driver update? If I don't need to install it can I get rid of the message?

Let us check if anything related to AMD is already installed in your PC. Maybe an AMD program is attracting the update.
-
In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
-
In the Uninstall or change a program window, select the program you want to remove from the list and click Uninstall or Uninstall/Change at the top of the program list.
-
The below window should open up on your PC. Please search for anything that is related to AMD and select it. Then click on the uninstall button.
I hope this helps. Cheers! 🙂

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY Desktop - 750-414 PC and have received a message that the graphics driver for AMD Radeon is downloaded and ready to install. Though your PC came with Integrated Intel HD Graphics. I'll surely assist you with this.
I did check the detailed product specifications for your PC and you are correct. You do not have to install the Graphics Driver for AMD Radeon unless this graphic had has been installed additionally on the motherboard. You may choose to ignore or cancel the message.
I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

Thank you MKazi for your response.
The message has appeared twice in the last week or so and each time I have ignored/cancelled the message. How can I eliminate the message completely so that it does not reappear?

I don't believe the message is coming from HP Support Assistant. The message just pops up on the screen, but I did not pay close attention to the source. When we purchased the PC in February I was following the setup manual to do the updates. There was a long list of downloads and one of them was the AMD Radeon graphics. I realized then that something was not right so that was when I contacted HP support. They were able to guide me to the correct list of downloads and installs. Apparently the AMD graphic download still resides but was never installed.
