Hello,
I am unable to complete the battery test after receiving a notification of a referral for testing. I tried a quick test and the result in all sections was "Passed" but in the battery test topic I received a line in blue with the word "Cancelled". In short, the battery test is not possible. Please take care of it

Hi @VICTOR2626,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding battery test issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Update HP Support Assistant:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of HP Support Assistant installed on your device. You can check for updates within the app or download the latest version from the HP Support website.

Run Diagnostics in BIOS:

  • Restart your computer and, during the startup process, press Esc or F2 repeatedly to enter the Startup Menu.
  • Select "Diagnostics" or "Component Test" to run the battery test directly from the BIOS, avoiding any software-related issues.

Check Battery and Power Connection:

  • Ensure the battery is properly seated and connected. For laptops with removable batteries, consider reseating the battery.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect any peripheral devices, shut down the computer, and unplug the AC adapter. Remove the battery (if it's removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Then, reconnect the battery, plug in the AC adapter, and turn on the device.

Windows Battery Calibration:

  • Sometimes, recalibrating the battery can help. Fully charge the battery, then use the laptop on battery power until it shuts down due to a low battery. Recharge it fully without interruption.

HP Hardware Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Hardware Diagnostics tool to run a battery check. This can be downloaded separately from the HP website if it's not available on your device.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date, as updates can resolve compatibility issues with system components.

I hope this helps.
