I keep getting a message stating there is an imminent hard drive failure. I have taken all the steps to diagnose. I have backed up all my files and did a factory rset on the computer. I am still getting the failure message. what can I do to fix the hard drive failure issue?

Now that you have backed up your files, it is time to replace the hard disk with a new one.
A failing hard disk is not a repairable item.
Once the new disk has replaced the failing unit, reinstalling Windows is the next step.
Identifying your notebook with its HP product number would be a prudent thing to do. It should have been your first step.
