Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I keep getting this message continuous for

".Hewlett-Packard - USB - 4/8/2019 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.0.237"
Installation failed, we will try again.

Why? and how to fix it?

It keeps coming back.

How to stop, disable, or uninstall them?

@Kees500

My guess is that Windows Update is doing this -- and it will just keep on doing it, especially if the install fails.  I used to get the same nagging messages until I disabled driver updates through Windows Update using the following instructions:  http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.h...

Good Luck

Hi, @Kees500

With the Hide Windows Updates utility that I zipped up and attached below, you can selectively hide the updates that aren't working/installing--including software updates.

You run the utility, it will check for updates and then a window will open showing the available updates you can hide.

Check the box for the troublesome update and Windows will hide it so it will never show up again unless you run the utility again and select the option to unhide windows updates.

Using this method will only selectively stop the updates you hid from installing.
