How can I access the bios of my HP Envy Recline 27 TouchSmart All-in-one, after removing SSD?

Hi, the SSD of my 2014 HP Envy Recline crashed. 

I tried to boot the system from a USB , but It did not work. I then had the SSD removed to go for data recovery.  (Did not have a recent backup 😞     Unfortunately)

Before buying and installing a  new SSD, I  woudl like to make sure that bios and motherboard are working fine.I have been unable to access the bios. How can I access the bios when there is no hard drive in the PC? Thank you

Hi,

Turn off the PC. Now hit the power button and press ESC continuously until startup menu appears, next press F10.
